- Also, many of the skills involved in writing English effectively carry
- over into programming, in particular the ability to organize your
- thoughts and present them in a logical, coherent sequence. One of the
- best students I've had was an English major. He got turned on to
- programming and went on to get a degree in computer science (not here,
- though).
